Wayapa is an Indigenous earth mindfulness practice that combines narrative meditation and physical movement to create a mind, body, spirit well being. Wayapa is based on lndigenous knowledge & concepts and guides you to connect to Country. Wayapa Wuurrk translates to Connect Country in the languages of the Maara and Gunnai Peoples.
Having an energy connection to the earth is what has sustained Aboriginal people to be the world’s oldest, continuous living culture – for over 80,000 years!
Today, for most of us, we have become disconnected from the land, from our tribe, from our food and from our spirit. Wayapa provides a sense of belonging to the earth through connection, movement, deep breathing and narrative meditation while creating holistic wellbeing.
