Day 1: Arrival Day in KTM, Transfer to Hotel, Walk at Monkey Temple
Day 2: Visit Buddhist Temple, Kora walk, Journaling and Intention Setting, Trip Briefing, Cultural Welcome Dinner
Day 3: From KTM (1350m) to Phaplu by air, then short walk to Salleri (2390m) – afternoon journalling
Day 4: Salleri to Junbesi (2700m) 3 – 4 hours walk
Day 5: Junbesi to Thupten Choling Monastery (3000m), meditation/mantra 2 hours walk
Day 6: Thupten Choling Monastery to Taksindu (2930m) via highpoint at 3240m 5-6 hours walk
Day 7: Taksindu Tangka and Mythology, then to Phaplu (2390m) via the Chiwang monastery 4 hours walk
Day 8: Transfer from Phaplu to KTM airport then Jeep transfer to Kathmandu Valley accommodation via Bhaktapur
Day 9: Morning yoga, massage, reflection, grounding and closing, evening sundowners
Day 10: Return to KTM – via singing bowls shop then go hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu City - trip ends

Kylie and Jeannette have co-created a unique experience. Combining traditional yoga, mindfulness, gentle hiking, in incredible surrounds, this experience is an opportunity to ground, rejuvenate and re-inspire!
Mixture of Monasteries, Hiking, Yoga – not a commercial trip but a bespoke experience drawing on personal relationships to provide an experience that will support conscious growth and expansion, allowing participants to regain their mojo.
We will spend time in lively Kathmandu then, travel to regional Phaplu where we embark on a truly special few days in the green hills of the Solukhumbu. The hike will be specifically tailored for you and ensures that you get to your goal safely and enjoyably. We will then trek into remote villages and witness spectacular mountain scenery. The highest elevation we will reach is 3250m – a prominent ridge which will deliver wonderful views of the snow-covered mountains. We will stay overnight in clean Nepalese teahouses & experience the culture of the famous Sherpa people. Accommodations along the way are on a shared basis in quality tried-and-tested teahouses and meals are “a la carte,” allowing you the flexibility to eat what you want in each tea house.
After spending time exploring ancient Monasteries, in mindful meditation and filling your lungs with crisp Himalayan air we then return to the edge of the Kathmandu Valley, an ancient and historic location, for 2 nights of exquisite yoga and pampering.
This personalized itinerary reflects the leaders’ proven track record, allowing sufficient time for safe acclimatisation - the key to any successful trek and climb in the Himalayan region. Kylie generates a safe and inviting space for you to develop your yoga or meditation practice, guiding you far beyond the physical as we explore traditional yoga practices to take you deeper on your spiritual pilgrimage.

Highly experienced yoga teacher and mentor Kylie Bertuch Haynes of Bright Yoga Space is a passionate and dedicated teacher, having delivered yoga classes, workshops and retreats for more than 13 years.
Kylie Bertuch is an ERYT certified teacher of yoga, women’s work Facilitator and Reiki Master. She is a mum of two little wild women and is passionate about the transformative power of yoga and women’s work.

Jeannette McGill
Head Mountaineer and Mentor @“McGills Mountains”
Jeannette has climbed mountains and lead groups all over the world, including USA, New Zealand, South Africa, Peru, Bolivia, China-Tibet and Kyrgyzstan.
Jeannette is also an accomplished corporate executive who has significant exposure to remote communities. With extensive leadership and organisational skills to support your mountaineering progress, Jeannette was voted among the Top 100 women as global inspirational woman in mining.
Jeannette is a seasoned and celebrated mountaineer, who is enthusiastic and passionate about sharing mountain adventures with others.

REQUIREMENTS OF HEALTH AND EXPERIENCE…
This outdoor experience is suitable for the passionate walker who will be comfortable walking around 3-5 hours a day with a light backpack <8kg. The Trek is less physically demanding compared to the Everest Region Trek. Preparation would include regular daily walks leading up to this trip. You do need to be in good physical and mental health to complete the trip. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung and blood diseases please inform me before confirming your participation. We are highly conscious of your health and safety. We also recommend that you have a medical check-up with your GP as well.
The yoga and meditation will be accessible yoga to all body types and abilities. All practices are invitational. There is no prior experience necessary to participate in your yoga practices, however you will be encouraged to do so as to enrich the overall connection, depth and experience of yourself and the group.

Payment options:
Payment plans are available at the check out. Part payment does not secure your spot. 100% of the payment is required upfront 3 months prior to the retreat to secure your place.
Cancellations:
Cancellation 6 months prior – Full refund minus 5% admin fee
Cancellation between 6 and 3 months prior - 50% refund
Cancellation less than 3 months – no refund (unless place is transferred which must be arranged by yourself)
If you decide after arriving at the retreat that it is ‘not for you’, you will not receive a refund
If we, the organisers cancel due to lack of sufficient numbers, by a certain date determined by us, you will receive a full refund
If there is a natural disaster in the area that prevents us from undertaking the retreat the organisers will make a decision as to the status of the bookings, in the best interest of all parties concerned. You will most likely receive a full refund
