Take time out to slow down, tune in, and embody presence through mindful movement, connection and creativity.

Rediscover your creativity in a completely non-judgmental environment over a weekend of Yoga and Art. 

You will have the opportunity to be nourished on all levels, through delicious food (fully catered), gentle Yoga, Breath & Meditation, and creative guidance.

You will be welcomed into this sacred space, nestled at the foot of majestic Mt Buffalo, and be held within this powerful Alpine landscape, and by the experienced guidance of your hosts, Kylie & Emily (Bright Yoga Space) and Carol (Styles Graphics).

Limited to a very small group this retreat is a space for you to completely relax and let your creativity become free. The Yoga and Meditation practices have been thoughtfully created to assist you to let go and find your flow. 

Carol’s guidance through two Water Colour art workshops over the weekend will give you the tools you need to fully enjoy your creativity

There is nothing for you to plan or think through. Take time to enjoy the pool, walk in the surrounding bush or simply read, rest, relax in your luxury queen room. 




This retreat is designed to leave you feeling spacious, inspired and restored.


WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE?

  • 4 yoga practices throughout the retreat – relax your body and mind with gentle yoga classes to help you slow down, find a deeper sense of presence and step into creativity

About the location…

Our stunning private retreat location is set in the heart of Porepunkah just outside of Bright in NE Victoria. The luxurious property of Copper Leaf Retreat backs onto the mountains surrounding this quiet alpine town. This property consists of accommodation, a pool, beautiful gardens with quiet spaces and views of Mt Buffalo. We will have use of the grounds and pool during the day.

The accommodation consist of 3 upstairs bedrooms with Queens beds, a private bathroom with large soaking tub, seperate toilet and lounge area. This retreat is ideal for either 3 couples or 3 singles wanting a private room experience. We also have an option for a limited amount of attendees who do not require accommodation but want to still participate in all yoga, workshops and meals.

Porepunkah is a small town on the Ovens River at the base of Mt Buffalo, just 5 minutes from Bright. Foodies will love the close proximity to the region’s amazing local produce, breweries, coffee roasters  and wineries. Outdoor adventurers have so many activities to choose from they’ll never want to leave (we know from experience!). About your facilitators…

Your host and Art Teacher Carol Styles has been a working artist, photographer and graphic designer for 40 years. Carol has extensive knowledge in multiple mediums and is inspired to work more recently with the freedom of watercolour. Carol opens her Copper Leaf Retreat home of 5 years for these special experience retreats and has been a regular to the region for 40 years as her love for skiing has made Mt Hotham her second home. Your highly experienced yoga teachers are Kylie Bertuch Haynes and Emily Rose of Bright Yoga Space. Both Kylie and Emily are passionate and dedicated teachers, having delivered yoga classes, workshops and retreats for more than a combined 15 years. They are the co-creators of Bright Yoga Space and enjoy offering yoga, meditation, women’s circles, and other transformative practices both in person and online. Read more about us here.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

Payment options:

  • 100% of the payment is required upfront to secure your place. You are required to be fully vaccinated to attend this retreat.

Cancellations:

  1. Cancellation 2 weeks prior – Full refund

  2. Cancellation between 2 weeks and 7 days – 50% refund (unless place is transferred)

  3. Cancellation less than 7 days – no refund. (unless place is transferred).

  4. If you decide after arriving at the retreat that it is ‘not for you’, you will not receive a refund.

  5. If we, the organisers cancel due to lack of sufficient numbers, by a certain date determined by us, you will receive a full refund.

  6. If there is a natural disaster in the area that prevents us from undertaking the retreat the organisers will make a decision as to the status of the bookings, in the best interest of all parties concerned. You will most likely receive a full refund.
